I’m drawn to taking photographs of multiples and these feature frequently in my travel shots – I just can’t resist all those neat little rows. The souks in Marrakech were full of stalls and shops displaying multiples from food to footwear and leathers to lanterns. Here’s what I found…
This is my take on Ailsa’s Travel Theme

I love colorful markets like these! Morocco is high on my list of places to visit. Great photos!
We had just an afternoon on the souks and it tipped down with rain a lot of the time – still wonderfully
vibrant and colourful though
Great shots…so colourful.
Thank you – such a lively vibrant city
The topic of multiples reminded me of the last time I was in Italy. I took lots of pictures of one of my favorite subjects – chocolate! Not surprisingly I had many pictures to choose from. And since I’m reasonably sure pictures of chocolate don’t have any calories, here they are.

Great photos Suzanne -what was your favourite sight in the souks?
It has to be the lanterns – love the patterns they create when they’re lit up in the evening.
What a lovely colourful collection of photos!
Thanks Kathryn
Great shots!
I enjoyed Marrakech a lot, too!
I took some ‘multiples’ of my own. Check them out on http://travelmemo.com/africa/morocco/djemaa-el-fna-square-marrakech-morocco
Beautiful pictures – I particularly like the shoes (slippers). I’ll take a pair in every color!
Thanks Meg – the leather was so soft on those slippers, very comfy
Nice shots, Suzanne!
Thank you Stefano, glad to have you drop by
Great pics, Suze. I love those hands!
I think the hands are a ‘women’ thing Jo
You found some great ones Suzanne! I like the one of the ‘hands of Fatima’ best.
Thanks Madhu, I like them too – but the symbolism – where to start, I could spend days reading up on these…
A great selection of multiples. Wow and wow again to the lights.
Thank you – unfortunately I didn’t have room in my case for a light. A good reason to re-visit I think
Enjoyed the photos. There’s something beautiful about the repetition and conformity.
Thanks for stopping by Traci – I do like a bit of repetition!
Great photos – I love markets like this
What’s not to like – could have haggled all day! Lovely people there too
I want to go there!
It’s madder than a bucket of spiders – I loved it!
